Relocating your Minecraft server to RecoreHosting

Are you currently hosting your Minecraft server(s) with another Minecraft Hosting company and do you wish to relocate them to us? No worries, relocating to RecoreHosting is done in no time.
You can play or develop from the exact moment when you started the relocation. We explain how to relocate your server down here in a few simple steps.

Many Minecraft server hosting providers only allow you to access your server if it is still active. So get ready to relocate before your Minecraft server actually expires!
Okay, your Minecraft server is still active? Let's begin!

Step 1:

Turn the Minecraft server off at the other Hosting.

Step 2:

Connect to your old Minecraft Server with an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP. We have an explanation right here although the way this works at RecoreHosting may vary at other providers.

Step 3:

Create a new and empty folder on, for example, the desktop of your computer. You can now drag all the files from your Minecraft server from the FTP client to the folder you just created. All files will now be downloaded which could take a while.

Step 4:

Now order a Minecraft server with us if you haven't done so already. You can order one here.

Step 5:

We can now upload all of your files to your new Minecraft server at us. Connect to your new Minecraft server through an FTP client as you did to your old Minecraft Server.

Step 7:

You can now upload all of your old Minecraft server files from your computer to your new Minecraft Server. Wait a while, and done! All your files are now on your new Minecraft Server. Have fun playing!
